Along with my husband and family, I invite you to share with us the beauty of our home on Mount Desert Island and Acadia National Park. Seaside Cottages share 500 feet of bold granite and stone beach shoreline with a southwesterly exposure on Blue Hill Bay. The sunsets from this location are truly breathtaking. Our location is private, decidedly uncommercial, and yet convenient to the facilities of the surrounding towns including Bar Harbor. While we enjoy living in the relative quiet of the western side of Mount Desert Island, the activities of Acadia National Park are literally at our back door.
Please come and enjoy our cottages whether you need a lovely private honeymoon cottage or just a peaceful, quite vacation home. You will find our rates competitive and the setting incomparable.

Pinelodge Cottage is a waterfront cottage with two bedrooms, living room/dining area, kitchen and full bath. One bedroom has a double bed while the other has two twin beds. Step through sliding glass doors on to a large deck with comfortable seating to enjoy a spectacular view of Blue Hill Bay.

June 18-July 2 $1100/week

Sept 3-Oct. 8 $800/week
Other Weeks - $600/week 

Pinelodge Cottage is open April 15th to November 1st. * We can comfortably sleep four persons, including children, no exceptions, please. Please remember to bring your own sheets and towels.

General Information

We rent by the week, Saturday to Saturday.
A deposit is required within 7 days to hold your reservation. Refund of deposits can only be made if we are successful in re-renting the entire period.
All rentals are subject to a 7% Maine sales tax
Our housekeeping cottage is now smoke-free. Smoking is not permitted inside at any time.
We enjoy pets enormously, but found that dogs and cats are frequently very unhappy in unfamiliar surroundings and make poor neighbors. We regretfully have concluded that we can not accommodate any pets.
In the interest of peace, we do not provide television, but tenants are welcome to bring a portable set.
We do limit the number of people to four persons, including children, no exceptions, please.
