Enjoy Easter Lunch on a Yacht on the Bay.

Sun Quest Cruises is hosting an Easter lunch aboard their dinner-dance yacht, Solaris, on Easter Sunday, April 8 from 1-3 P.M. Boarding for the cruise is at 12:15 P.M.

Long time residents of the area who have lots of experience dining at various restaurants with gulf views sing the praises of the cruise. Some say the Solaris has to be the BEST restaurant on the bay, with some of the most breathtaking views in the area.

While the food and service receive very high marks, people also enjoy the live entertainment, dance floor, camaraderie of meeting other people sitting at their table cruise ship style, and a common sighting of dolphins jumping and swimming alongside the boat.

The boat is three levels so passengers are able to leave the two climate controlled dining salons and go out on the decks to observe the scenery as they wish. There are 5,300 square feet of passenger space.

The menu for the event prepared onboard in their full service galley is:

1st Course: Fresh Romaine and Baby Spinach salad, pine nuts, hearts of palm, feta cheese and herb vinaigrette.

2nd Course: Choose one of the following for every guest age 11 and up:

Fresh Gulf Fish of the Day on Toasted Orzo and Tomato Marsala Concasse

Gulf Shrimp Sauté on Organic Stone Ground Grits, Applewood Smoked Bacon, and White Wine Butter Sauce

Seared Free Range Chicken Breast with Mediterranean Vegetable Confit on Roasted Red Bliss Potato Mash and Asparagus

Seared Pork Loin Roulade filled with Fresh Herbs, Parmesan and Bacon, Portabella Port Wine glaze, Red Bliss Potato Mash and Asparagus

Children's Menu: (Ages 3-10) choose from either Chicken Tenders with Red Bliss Potato Mash and Asparagus or Macaroni and Cheese

3rd Course: Chef's Choice of Dessert

Meal choices are made at the time of reservations or by 5:00 PM two days before the cruise. 

Tickets are $55 per person ages 11 and up, children 3-10 are $25 per child, and infants through age 2 are $15 (no meal included). Reservations may be made at: www.sunquestcruises.com.
