Composed of twenty-six different districts, Northern Ireland is a country just slightly larger than the American state of Connecticut, and yet it boasts a spirit and vibrancy greater than that found in the entirety of many of the world’s largest nations. Northern Ireland boasts a whole host of tourist attractions as well as fun for the locals too, and when you visit you will find that the greatest difficulty is in selecting where to begin!

The activities offered in Northern Ireland are such that every visitor will have something to do. Whether you like a challenge and welcome active pursuits, or if you simply wish to take a stroll and enjoy some breathtaking views, Northern Ireland will have an activity to satisfy. The country boasts numerous lovely old manors and parks that are open to the public to view; many of them also do double duty as hotels, so why not book a night or two in a heritage home and live as people used to in historic times? Or, if you’d prefer a more fleeting look at history, tour Northern Ireland’s museums and engage in the delightful exhibits that these have to offer.
