Casa O Galinheiro is set only 5 min. drive to the beautiful Meia Praia beach and 10 min. to the historical town of Lagos. For golf lovers there is the Palmares Golf club at only 1,5 km distance. The House - Through the hall the stairs lead up to the large cosy L-shaped living/dining room with wooden ceiling. The heating is taken care of by a log burning stove. The living room is very comfortable furnished with various seats and for television lovers there is a special corner with satellite TV. The huge table serves for nice dinners at home or to play a game. Different paintings from p.e. the Dutch painter Bob Kip cover the walls. The heating is taken care by a log burning stove. Two terrace doors lead you from the living room into the garden from where you have stunning views over the lagoon of Alvor and the sea. The Kitchen - Luxury, complete furnished kitchen with a lot of facilities as of electric oven, American fridge with ice-crusher and a dishwasher. For every cook lover it’s a pleasure to make a meal. Fresh vegetables and fruits one can buy on the daily market , and of course not to forget there is the fish market for all different sorts of fish. This modern kitchen is completed with beautiful Portuguese tiles. The Bedroom - The villa has a large double bedded room were you can enjoy sweet nights of sleep, supplied with television, make-up table and wardrobe. There is an adjoining bathroom. Through the sliding doors you enter the terrace with view inland where lots of the famous almond trees grow. Here, at the end of the afternoon, one can still enjoy the sun. For a 3e/4e person there is an extra bedroom with own shower / toilet and views over the beautiful garden with different tropical plants (e.g. banana trees) , and over the lagoon of Alvor the sea. The Bathroom - Luxury bathroom, extra big sized shower and a lovely bath which makes this bathroom a nice place to be! The bathroom is decorated with Portuguese marble. In the house there is a separate guest toilet. Terrace and view - Huge covered terrace with different seats onto garden with grass, palm tree and beautiful plants from where you have stunning views over the lagoon and fishing village Alvor and the sea. Of course holiday in Portugal without BBQ impossible, together with a good glass of Portuguese wine on a nice summer evening and you think you are in paradise!.
