Satisfied by the Sea is a 4 bedroom, 4-1/2 bath, new home in The Plantation on beautiful St. George Island, Florida. We have 3 king beds, one triple bunk bed (1 double, 1 single), and a sleeper sofa (sleeps 11).

Rental Policies and Procedures
Reservation Hotline

When making reservations, it is helpful to know your dates of your vacation and have favorite units chosen from the catalog or internet. If you have special requests or certain amenities that are necessary, please notify the reservationist at this time.

While we strive to always provide accurate information, please note that verbal misquotes on rental rates, property description or policies, will not be honored.

Trip Cancellation Insurance

CSA Trip Cancellation Insurance will be automatically added to your Advance Rent Request. You can decline it by initialing where indicated on your Rental Agreement and returning it with your Advance payment. A pamphlet describing the coverage

will be mailed with your Rental Agreement. This plan is optional but we strongly recommend it. In case of unforeseen events, this insurance helps protect your vacation investment. IF YOU CHOOSE NOT TO PURCHASE THIS COVERAGE, NO REFUNDS WILL BE GIVEN. Trip Cancellation Insurance can be purchased up to 24 hours of you arrival. In the event that a tropical storm becomes a named hurricane, CSA will not allow you to purchase the Trip Cancellation Insurance.

Cancellations / Reservation Changes

Telephone our office as soon as possible in the event you must cancel, change dates or switch properties. Please note that we cannot refund your advance rental payment unless the property is re-rented for the same time period. Once your reservation is confirmed, any cancellations, date or property changes will be subject to our cancellation policies. If the property re-rents, we will refund your advance rental payment, minus trip insurance fees, if applicable, and a $75.00 cancellation fee. SORRY, NO REFUNDS FOR EARLY DEPARTURES.

Rental Payment

Upon making your reservation, advance payment of 50% of the total reservation, including all fees and charges, is required within 15 days of booking the reservation. This payment can be made in the form of a personal check or money order. If payment is not received within 15 days, your reservation will be cancelled. All payments are deposited in an interest bearing escrow account with interest accruing to Collins Vacation Rentals, Inc. Upon receipt of your payment, a confirmation will be sent to you. Please read. You are agreeing to all conditions and policies. Collins Vacation Rentals, Inc. must approve any exceptions to the conditions and policies in writing.

The balance of your rent is due upon arrival unless you are an EXPRESS CUSTOMER. We accept cash, travelers check, cashier's check, money order, Visa, MasterCard, or Discover. WE DO NOT ACCEPT PERSONAL CHECKS, BUSINESS CHECKS OR AMERICAN EXPRESS. No exceptions.

Sales Tax

A 6% state sales tax is added to all reservations at the time the reservation is made. This tax applies to all fees and charges including rent, pet fee, linen rentals, reservation fee, security fee, as well as Plantation and Sunset Beach fees, where applicable.

Reservation Fee

There is a $25.00 nonrefundable reservation fee added to all reservations at the time the reservation is made.

Security Fee / Damages

A $35.00 nonrefundable security fee is required for all reservations. We are collecting a security fee in lieu of a damage deposit. If damage occurs during your stay, please let us know immediately. You are responsible for your damages and will be billed accordingly. This privilege is offered to you as our way of saying thank you for your business. If you elect not to pay the security fee, then a damage deposit in the amount of $500.00 is required with your advance payment. Any damage that occurs during your stay will be deducted from your damage deposit. Damage deposits will be refunded, within (30) thirty days after your departure, less any charges.

Express Customer

If we have received your payment in full by personal check, cashier's check or money order at least thirty (30) days prior to arrival, you are eligible to check in between 3:00 and 4:00 p.m. Every effort will be made to ensure that your property is ready by this time; however, during our busiest weeks, we cannot guarantee this check-in time.

Check-in time

Our check-in time is 4PM unless you're an EXPRESS CUSTOMER. Please note this is not guaranteed, but every effort will be made to have your property ready by 5PM. If you will arrive after 5 PM, please call us for special check-in arrangements.

Late Arrivals

If you will be arriving after office hours, your keys will be left in the pick-up box. Please call ahead during business hours to make arrangements for this service.

Substitution

We reserve the right to substitute comparable accommodations without notice or liability should a property become unavailable. If comparable accommodations are not available, renter will have the option of selecting from available properties at the published rate or receiving a complete refund of monies paid.

Pool Availability

Pool availability and private pools with heaters are NOT guaranteed with any rental reservation; where applicable, pools will be heated from October 1-March 31. If the OUTSIDE air temperature drops below 55 degrees, pool heaters will not function. The maximum pool temperature is 80 degrees. No refund will be given for unavailability or lack of heat.

Fire Works

No fireworks are allowed on porches, decks and wooden walkways. You must keep all fireworks on the beach or over the bay to avoid a fine.

Check-out Time

Our check-out time is 10AM on your departure date, and is STRICTLY ENFORCED. All keys must be returned to our office, and all persons and vehicles must vacate the premises. Please follow the check-out conditions listed below.

Check-out Conditions

We ask our guests to leave their property in the same general condition as it was found. 1. All furnishings must be placed in original positions. 2. Clean and put away all dishes. 3. Bag and place all trash in the outside trash receptacle and place receptacle at the curbside. 4. Please check under beds, behind doors, and in all drawers and closets for your personal items.

When requested, lost items left behind will be returned COD with a $10 processing fee. 5. Close and lock all windows and doors.

Trash

When checking out, please do not bring trash containers to curb. Leave trash cans under the steps, and the sanitation company will pick them up there.

Telephones

Please note that you are responsible for all long distance toll and surcharges, not the owner.

Hurricane Evacuation and Refunds

In the event of a MANDATORY EVACUATION due to hurricanes or other storms, you are required by state law to evacuate the property. Refunds for the period of mandatory evacuation will be made only by CSA provided you purchased the optional trip cancellation insurance. (see the Cancellation Insurance section).

Occupancy / Age Requirements

We are very serious about maintaining a family atmosphere for the quiet enjoyment of our guests. We do not rent to groups of teenagers with or without chaperones regardless of whether the chaperones are parents of one of the teenagers. We will rent to family groups, married couples, and RESPONSIBLE ADULTS over the age of 25, proof of age is required. Violation of the above will result in immediate eviction without refund of rent.

Housekeeping and Maintenance

Every effort is made to have our home clean and all equipment in good working order. Even the newest or best maintained equipment occasionally malfunctions. Upon arrival, if you find any housekeeping or maintenance problems, please telephone Housekeeping at 850-927-3861 or Maintenance at 850-927-2478. If you are a late arrival, please notify us of any problems you may have by 10:00 a.m. the next morning. If we have not heard from you by this time, we will assume that you found your property in acceptable condition
