Located on beautiful Manasota Key, approximately 1 1/2 hours south of Tampa, between Fort Myers and Sarasota, this lovely villa condo complex is situated right on the Gulf of Mexico, south of the Manasota and Englewood beach areas.. Many consider this Key to be one of the best kept secrets in southwest Florida, for although it is only moments away from the mainland and easily accessible via a no toll causeway, it has managed to maintain its tropical beauty by steering away from the intense tourist traffic that results from high rise development. Instead, you will find low rise accommodation on the south end of the Key and breathtaking private homes overlooking the Gulf of Mexico and Lemon Bay, as you head north. El Galeon By The Sea is the newest building in the El Galeon Resort complex, complete with a tropically landscaped courtyard and large heated pool. Just steps from the pool area, you will find the gorgeous white sandy beach and turquoise waters of the Gulf of Mexico, where you can relax on our private sundeck overlooking the Gulf of Mexico, swim in the ocean, walk miles of beach, collect an incredible variety of sea shells and watch some of the most spectacular sunsets anywhere! The fishing here is great as well. If boating is your pleasure, you'll appreciate the private dock facilities that are included in your vacation rental and if golfing is high on your list of activities, you'll have a hard time deciding which of the area's many fine courses to play. The rental units themselves are fully equipped and furnished in "Floridian" decor. They feature a living/dining area, complete with contemporary, fully equipped kitchens. The master bedrooms all have balconies and are equipped with either a king size or queen size bed. One bedroom units are conveniently situated all on 1 level on the first floor of the By The Sea complex and come equipped with a queen size sofa bed in the living room. Two bedroom units feature a 2-story floor plan with cathedral ceilings in the living/dining area and a spiral staircase that provides access to a lovely "loft" on the second floor, which includes the second bedroom complete with ensuite bath. Two bedroom units are equipped with king or queen size beds in the master bedroom, 2 twin beds or a queen size bed in the loft, and most have queen size sofa beds in the living room as well. All villa condos come equipped with cable color TV and local telephone service is provided free of charge. Basically, all you will need are your personal belongings and a desire to relax and enjoy. If you prefer, there are a few restaurants and facilities within walking distance. Major shopping, restaurants and night life can be found just moments away in Englewood, Venice or Port Charlotte. So, whatever your vacations dreams may be, they can become reality at El Galeon by the Sea!
