"The Ultimate Getaway" Our small claim to PARADISE is a townhouse villa at the Hideaway Bay Beach Club, which stretches from the bay right through to the Gulf of Mexico. For most of us, the Ultimate Getaway conjures up dreams of sun drenched days on a beautiful tropical island, turquoise water as far as the eye can see, waves gently washing ashore on miles of unspoiled white sandy beach with palm trees swaying in the tropical breeze. If only you could eliminate the crowds, cars and chaos that are part and parcel of most tropical destinations these days! Paradise can be found on Little Gasparilla Island, located just off the southwest coast of Florida, on the Gulf of Mexico between Naples and Sarasota, next door to prestigious Boca Grande.

Imagine, if you can, the peaceful sounds of nature, uninterrupted by man or machinery, being able to walk an unspoiled beach without stepping over hundreds of sunbathers, listening to the soothing sound of the surf, without an assortment of loud music in the background, the noise of a jetliner, replaced by the quiet beauty of an osprey soaring gracefully overhead. Visualize swimming in the azure waters of the Gulf of Mexico, with Dolphins, Porpoises and Manatee playing nearby. It is not unusual to find yourself within touching distance of these beautiful and gentle creatures. These waters are also home to numerous species of game fish, in fact, the area has become world renowned for Tarpon fishing, probably the most prized and challenging catch of all. The shelling here is unquestionably second to none and each day brings a new assortment of treasures from the sea. When each day is done, you will be able to witness the most spectacular sunsets anywhere, each with its own unique display, amidst the most serene setting imaginable! Access is easily provided by a private ferry that makes the 4 to 5 minute run between island and mainland every 2 hours. If you prefer to vacation with your own boat, you will appreciate the private boat docking facilities that are available free of charge. The Hideaway is a lovely, 18 acre complex with large heated pool, sundecks, 2 fountain lakes, outdoor barbecue and much, much more. Our unit is a 2 story townhouse, built in the "Old Florida" style, just steps from the gorgeous, pristine beach. On the first level, you will find a screened porch, where you can sit and enjoy the sights and sounds of the beautiful Gulf of Mexico and from which you gain access to the main floor living room, dining room, kitchen, bath and master bedroom. A spiral staircase in the living room, takes you to a guest bedroom and bath that span the entire second floor. Our "Island Getaway" was recently decorated, is nicely furnished and comes fully equipped, including range, refrigerator/freezer, dishwasher, microwave, color TV with satellite dish, VCR, telephone and propane BBQ. A washer and dryer are also provided for your convenience. All you basically need, are your personal belongings and a desire to get away! The choice is yours, swim, snorkel, windsurf, sail, fish, shell, unwind, relax and enjoy! And when its time to take a break from rest and relaxation, you'll find golfing, shopping, sightseeing, dining and night life, just a short distance away.  Rates include utilities as well as complete cleaning and linen service prior to your arrival and again on the day of departure.
