Our tastefully decorated open concept beach house with original art work is smoke-free and one-of-a-kind. Ours is the only beach house in Surfside or anywhere on the Texas coast to offer a private in-deck heated pool (heating optional). And.....this is one of the few beachfont houses in the area to offer a large screen wall plasma television, WiFi, free long distance calls, and television in every room!

But wait - there's more. We call our house "Island Time," because that is where time slows down to increments of pleasure and relaxation. You sense that the moment you walk through the door into another world of sheer comfort. All the cares and worries of your every day busy life are left behind.

And wait until you walk into the romantic master bedroom. The pizzaz of the red accents are tempered by the King bed's romantic quilt, tons of feather pillows and dreamy mosquito net canopy. This bedroom is away from the others and looks out over the rolling surf. When you're not renewing your relationship or listening to the soothing sounds of the gentle surf, there's a 27 inch television in the room for your viewing pleasure.

When morning arrives and the rest of your party sleeps comfortably in the back bedrooms, there's no need to miss your morning Starbucks. An expresso machine and complimentary Starbucks coffee (our appreciation gift to you) awaits in the kitchen. This will be a Starbucks like no other enjoyed either at the glass topped cafe table on the deck overlooking the pool or strolling along the beach.

There is a charcoal BBQ downstairs along with a half bath and outdoor shower to rinse off that beach sand. From this area you may view sunsets over the IntraCoastal and sport fishing boats headed out to some of the best fishing on the Texas coast. The fishing charter boats nearest Houston are located here where deep water fishing is a short distance away along with the best dive spot of the Texas coast. The Flower Garden Banks National Marine Sanctuary is located only about 35 miles offshore. The Flower Garden Banks harbor the northernmost coral reefs in the United States. The rare/endangered species best known to the sanctuary are the loggerhead sea turtles, the leatherback sea turtles, and the hawksbill sea turtles.

Surfside Beach is the place to go to get away from it all. This small, quaint beach community has convenience stores, a surf shop, and local non-chain restaurants with great home cooked food and small town prices. Miss Kitty’s Purple Cow serves up wicked cheeseburgers and the Red Snapper Inn features home cooked entrees and some of the best gumbo this side of New Orleans (featured in Texas Monthly Magazine for its great food!).

If nightlife or attractions like Moody Gardens and the Strand is what you want, Galveston Island's new ultra prestigious Pointe West destination resort is only about 10 miles up the road - closer than it is to the city of Galveston. But the serenity of this quiet little beach town so entices that visitors rarely want to leave.

Shops at the Brazos Mall and Lake Jackson Mall provides two-point-four-million square feet of retail shopping (seven miles). While in Lake Jackson (four miles from Surfside), visit Sea Center, Texas, a $13,000,000, state-of-the-art, fish hatchery and visitor center.

Three bedrooms, two and a half baths, sleeps ten to fourteen. One king bed (Master BR), queen bed, two double beds and two bunk beds (2nd and 3rd BRs), queen sofa bed (Living Room), and crib. There is a $300.00 security deposit which will be refunded in full in less than 30 days of your departure if no damage or loss is incurred and house and linens/towels are left clean. LINENS PROVIDED - NO EXTRA CHARGE. If linens are not cleaned, dried, and folded, a $75 linen service fee will be deducted from security deposit. Small, well-behaved pet allowed with $75 non-refundable deposit.
